UNVEILS ONLINE AD SERVICE AT AD:TECH
New York City, NY (April 24, 2006) – Mochila (www.mochila.com), the first global online media marketplace for print, photo, audio, and video content, is unveiling its online advertising service at ad:tech’s Interactive Media Expo from April 26th - April 28th in San Francisco.
Mochila’s new online advertising service allows advertisers the opportunity to closely align advertising with relevant content. When a Mochila buyer accepts advertising, content is free, and the revenue from the advertising is shared including both the buyer and the seller.
With Mochila’s ad network, the ads appear in front of a self-selected target audience. For example, an airline advertiser can align with one or many articles regarding travel and be assured that their ad is not only appearing on a relevant page, but also inside the relevant content.
Mochila provides advertisers with a unique degree of choice and control. An advertiser can choose to advertise along with a specific article or series of articles, subject categories, well-known newspaper and magazine brands, or categories of brands.
Advertisers also have the ability to opt-out of certain sites, sites in certain categories, or, even, specific brands of content. Content providers and acquirers have the same level of control. Mochila evaluates the preferences of the advertiser, content owner, and content acquirer, and then matches the right ad with the right content.
By creating the first online system that facilitates commercial content syndication in an easy peer-to-peer fashion, Mochila brings new revenue to content providers such as magazines, newspapers, and wire services, while offering media outlets of all types the ability to buy the highest-quality feature content a la carte and on-demand.
