Mary Jo Romeo Named Vice President of Advertising Sales at Mochila
Veteran digital sales executive of BabyCenter.com and The Weather Channel joins leading ad-supported content syndication network
New York, N.Y., September 29, 2009 - Mochila, the premium content syndication technology platform and network, announced today that it has appointed Mary Jo Romeo to the position of Vice President, Advertising Sales.
Romeo is charged with creating innovative solutions for Mochila's advertising partners by leveraging its deep publishing relationships and its vast distribution network to enhance marketing performance. She will be based in New York and will report to Carolyn Bekkedahl, Mochila's President and Chief Revenue Officer.

Romeo, whose career spans two decades of integrated sales and digital media experience, has forged deep relationships in the advertising industry. She spent four years at BabyCenter.com, owned by Johnson & Johnson (JNJ). As BabyCenter.com's VP, Sales & Client Services, Romeo increased online advertising revenue 40% over two years. Prior to joining BabyCenter.com, Romeo was VP, Regional Manager at The Weather Channel.
