Reuters Joins Mochila as Premier Content Provider
On Online Media Marketplace

World's Largest Multimedia News Agency to Syndicate Diverse Content and Earn Revenue from Mochila's AdMatch Program

NEW YORK - September 18, 2007 – Reuters, the global information company, has joined Mochila, the first global online media marketplace for text, video and photo content, as one of its premier content providers. Mochila’s marketplace is one of the world’s largest repositories of online information and now includes rich content from the top global newswire organizations.

As a member in Mochila’s marketplace, Reuters will syndicate its multimedia content to publishers across its various product lines. Reuters will make its content available through Mochila’s innovative AdMatch program. With AdMatch, Reuters will provide its content to Web publishers for free and earn a percentage of the advertising revenue that accompanies that content. Reuters will also license its content to other sites for a one-time fee.

“Reuters vast array of content provides valuable context, analysis and insight into global news and the financial markets,” said Ric Camacho, Vice President, Digital Syndication at Reuters. “By becoming part of the Mochila community, we are continuing our strategy of broadening the distribution channels for our trusted news and information, while extending the Reuters brand and increasing advertising revenue.”

Mochila’s Marketplace offers millions of articles, photos and videos from some of the largest, most-recognized media brands in the World.

“We continue to grow our world-class membership of content providers to provide Web publishers with one-stop shopping for high-quality content,” said CEO Keith McAllister. “We’re thrilled to add Reuters, one of the world’s best and most trusted names in news.
