Steve McEvoy Promoted to Chief Revenue Officer of Mochila
Seasoned automotive, luxury and fashion advertising sales executive steps up from Vice
President, Advertising Sales at ad-supported content syndication network
NEW YORK, July 13, 2011 - Mochila, the premium content syndication technology platform and network, today announced the promotion of Steve McEvoy to the position of Chief Revenue Officer. Earlier this year, McEvoy joined Mochila as Vice President, Advertising Sales Director from HFM U.S.' National Sales at HFM U.S.' Jumpstart Automotive Group, one of the largest content and media providers for the automotive space.
In his new role as Chief Revenue Officer, McEvoy will spearhead all advertising and publisher sales efforts as well as oversee Mochila's Business Development team. Mochila packages highly contextual and fully customized content solutions that help publishers, advertisers and marketers extend their reach and deepen audience engagement. McEvoy will be based in New York and will report to Benjamin Chen, Chairman and CEO, Mochila.

As an executive advertising sales veteran of both digital and traditional media, McEvoy has cultivated more than two decades of strong ties to the automotive and luxury spaces. Prior to Jumpstart, McEvoy worked in luxury sales for Niche Media, publisher of ultra-luxe regional magazines such as Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential and Ocean Drive. Earlier, McEvoy spent 16 years at HFM U.S., where he served as publisher of the late John Kennedy Jr.'s George and Elle, and later rose to Senior VP, Corporate Sales.
